The project for a holiday house with a dance studio on the south coast of Dakar is a construction of simple volumes that house the different functions and whose composition creates a fluid space while preserving the intimacy of the rooms.
The terraces at different levels are open-air rooms with views over the landscape and the sea to the south-west.
The modular morphology was designed to allow an easy construction in load-bearing partitions and will allow for flexible use of the spaces in the future, accommodating the different needs of uses and users.
The building is designed to allow multiple levels of privacy between owners and guests. A pool house in direct connection with the swimming pool is a detached element from the main building with autonomous and independent access.
The living area on the ground floor overlooking the garden has a double-height space.
On the top floor there is a dance studio with views of the context. This space opens onto a terrace for outdoor events or exercise in the evening hours.
